If you refreshed the page during the Drag and Drop process, and the document is not in your DocBox, this document may have been Checked out.
To find these documents and check them back in, go to the Document Processing Center. Once you scroll past the list of DocBoxes, you will see the document below.
The document will have a green box in the lower right corner.
Select the document, putting a checkmark next to it. And select Edit Properties in the file ribbon. Give the document a proper doctype name.
From there, select the check in box, here. this will move the document back to your DocBox.
On the screen, the green checkmark has gone away, but it looks the document hasn't been moved.
To verify it has been moved you can navigate to your docbox. If you manually refresh the page, the document will no longer appear below the DocBoxes.
If you don't change the doctype and attempt to check in the document, you will get this error message here.
To update the Document Properties, once the document is back in your DocBox, right click anywhere in the blue highlighted document and select the Edit Properties (NCT).
Note: Editable smart forms that are imported into CaseWorks using Drag and Drop will remain unable to be previewed on the CaseWorks Scan Page. Please use Print2CW or Email to import these documents.
Examples of editable smart form features include:
- Expandable text fields
- Radio buttons that open different sections after being selected
- Drop-down boxes
