Request SMI access when you need to connect CaseWorks to the Statewide Minnesota Interface (SMI) or when additional SMI roles are required to perform your job.
Submit an SMI access request
- Open the Minnesota IT System Access Request.
- Select System Access Request or Modify Existing Access.
- Select SMI as the application.
- Select SMI (Production) as the region.
- Select the required SMI roles.
Request prismProgramViewsPlusTwelve
The prismProgramViewsPlusTwelve role is not available as a checkbox. Enter prismProgramViewsPlusTwelve in the Business Reason field along with the reason for the request.
Business reason examples
- Financial Services: Access required to retrieve MAXIS data through CaseWorks.
- Child Support: Access required to retrieve PRISM data through CaseWorks.
If your responsibilities change later, submit another request using Modify Existing Access to add additional SMI roles.
