Forms that are generated in CaseWorks will auto-fill with both client and case owner details. To generate a form, use the All Purpose Navigation (APN).
- Enter the client’s name or Case Number in the APN to search for the desired client. Select their name.
- From the drop-down menu, select Forms.
- To find the desired form, begin typing a form number or form name. A list will appear based on the keywords or numbers. Select the appropriate form in the list.
- Click the Green Check Mark. CaseWorks will generate an Auto Filled Form and open in Adobe Reader.
Caseworks auto-fills the selected form with the following information (based on available data):
- PDF is automatically named with the CaseWorks Edition that the form was created from
- A CaseWorks barcode is generated on the actual form with client and form data
- Client’s data is auto-filled
- County and Worker information is auto-filled where appropriate
- Enter additional information on the form as needed.
- When you have finished editing the Form, you may choose to physically print the form, route the form to a CaseWorks DocBox, or file the form to the EFC.
- If you are routing the document into CaseWorks, you will have three options available in the Document State Section:
- Editable - The document retains the blue editable fields and can be opened back up in Adobe to be filled out. Once these changes are made, you will need to use the Print2CW feature to bring the document back into CaseWorks.
- Flat Record - The document will flatten when resubmitted into CaseWorks, meaning the blue fields will no longer be available. Flat Record must be used when using LCD Forms.
-
Draft - The document retains the blue editable fields and can be reopened in Adobe, updated, and saved again at any time. Each time the form is submitted as a ‘Draft’, the updates will overwrite the existing document and be seen as a subsequent version (see Version History).
- Note: Draft functionality is designed for personal, ongoing edits by a single worker. At this time, it does not support team collaboration or circulating the same draft among multiple users.
- Note: When File to EFC is checked, the DocBox field will be overridden. After checking File to EFC and clicking Submit, the document will only be sent to the EFC.
